UI Professor Among Finalists for AMIA Distinguished Paper Awards
UI Professor and Coordinator for the Informatics Program, Padmini Srinivisan, was among the finalists for her paper, Adaptive Classifiers, Topic Drifters, and GO Annotations, submitted at the AMIA Conference in Chicago.
Finalists are selected from a slate of candidate papers recommended by the Annual Symposium Scientific Program Committee. The Awards Committee will recognize five notable and distinguished papers from the Annual Symposium. Distinguished papers are awarded at the symposium but contain no ordinal designation.
