James J Shepherd is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. He received his PhD at the University of Cambridge, before completing postdoctoral studies at Rice University and MIT. His research group focus is in the computational design of catalysts, using novel electronic structure techniques to understand how bonds rearrange on metal surfaces.
